Save your hard work as a template

When you are happy with a page design, it is obvious that you want to use this style throughout the web site. You can do this in two ways.

Save the web page to your site as you would any other page and call it template! Then each time you want a new page you just open the "template" page and do file save as. Re-Name the file and click ok. There's your new page.

This method works well but you must remember to NOT overwrite the file. Always open the template and do file save as. Re-Name the file and click ok. Don't forget! If you do, open the template page, delete the information you don't want and do file save. You now have a blank page template again.

To your Drive - Preferred method

Do file save as and click the drop down menu and select FrontPage Template.

By saving the page as a template you will have two options.

To save to the current site or simple save (OK Button).

If you save to the current site, your template will only be available for use in that web site. If you just save the template it will be available to your for use in any web site you create.

If it were me i would just save. Then when you need a new template page just do file/new/newpage and there it is. Also the bonus is you can't overwrite your template page.
